CFexpress is an upgraded version of the CFast 2.0 and XQD. The main difference being faster speed.

Formally, CFexpress is a removable media standard created by the CompactFlash Association (CFA) in September 2016. The further CFexpress 2.0 standard was announced in February 2019, which includes three form factors defined in the standard (Type A, B and C). All form factors leverage the PCIe Gen 3 interface and use established NVMe protocols to offer better efficiency, optimized power and performance for professional imaging and video markets.
